Groups for Adult Adoptees

Adoption is a life-long journey.  Each stage in an adoptee’s life offers specific challenges.  Groups offer the opportunity to share your thoughts with other adoptees who understand your experiences and feelings.

Adoptees Ages 19-25

Purpose: The post-high school years offer unique challenges for 19-25 year olds.  This support group will provide adoptees with the opportunity to connect with people who are coping with similar issues.  The group will discuss challenges which participants are facing.  Topics may also include search and reunion, separating from two sets of parents and discovering one’s identity.

Logistics: The group will meet one time per month.  Groups will meet for four sessions.  Each session will be 1 hour and 30 minutes long.  Groups are formed based on interest.

E-mail us if you wish to enroll in the next session.
